Chef Todd has created a fantastic streusel-style peach cobbler recipe that is sure to become a family favorite! Watch him work his magic in the kitchen with Shelf Reliance's quick oats and other THRIVE ingredients like reconstituted freeze dried peach slices. Want to make it at home? Just follow the recipe below and your home will soon be filled with the smell of cinnamon peaches garnished with a fantastic oatmeal-based streudel topping.

IngredientsInstructions

Peach Filling:
To make the filling, heat up a medium saucepan and melt the butter. Add the peaches and sauté lightly. Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the peaches and stir; add the vanilla, brown sugar, and salt and stir; finally add the water (any leftover water drained from reconstituting the peaches can be used in the ½ c. water). Simmer until sauce just starts to thicken, but don’t let it get too thick, as it will thicken more as it bakes. Pour filling into an 8x8 pan and let rest while making the streusel topping.
To make topping, mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Cut the butter into small pieces and cut into the dry ingredients. Spread the streusel topping evenly over the top of the peach filling. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes or until brown and bubbly. Allow to rest before serving.
